Actilite is a gently adhering gauze wound dressing coated with Activon (Manuka honey and Manuka oil).

The wound dressing promotes the natural healing process of wounds and facilitates the removal of wound fluid through the gauze material.

The combination of Manuka oil and Activon honey in Actilite makes it a valuable product for wound treatment.

Application:
The dressing is easy to apply and adheres gently to the surrounding skin, but not to the wound bed. The hygroscopic effect of Activon+ promotes a moist healing environment. Please use a secondary dressing of your choice, e.g., an absorbent wound dressing or a semipermeable film, depending on the condition of the wound. Actilite is a single-use product. Use on more than one patient may result in cross-contamination or infection. Opening the wound dressing packaging compromises the sterile barrier. All unused wound dressings must be discarded.
