Barriers such as necrosis or fibrin deposits often occur during the healing of chronic wounds. In addition to mechanical or surgical debridement, wound deposits can also be removed autolytically, i.e. by supporting the self-cleaning process.

The advantage lies in the tissue-sparing nature of this procedure, because Cutimed Gel is a transparent, amorphous hydrogel for the treatment of necrotic and fibrinous deposits in chronic wounds.

The gel continuously releases moisture into the wound, resulting in effective yet tissue-friendly debridement.

The high stability and viscosity of the gel allow effective application and ensure that it remains in the wound.

Cutimed Gel consists of Carbomer 940, purified water, glycerin, sodium hydroxide, and EDTA sodium. Latex-free formula.

Areas of application:
Cutimed Gel is suitable for cleansing necrotic or clogged wounds. Cutimed Gel can also be used to create a moist, physiological wound environment in later stages of wound healing:

• diabetic foot syndrome

Cutimed Gel can be applied in three ways: with the enclosed applicator, a spatula or directly from the tube - depending on the type and location of the wound.
