KELO-COTE^® Scar Gel is a patented, self-drying silicone gel for the prevention and treatment of raised scars, such as hypertrophic scars and keloids.

KELO-COTE^® Scar Gel is clinically proven to make scars flatter, softer, and smoother. It relieves the discomfort and itching associated with scars and reduces skin discoloration.

KELO-COTE^® scar gels can be used alternately with KELO-COTE® spray and scar sheets. For example, they can be alternated on a day/night rhythm. However, silicone scar sheets, gels, and spray should not be used simultaneously (layered on top of one another).

Indications:
KELO-COTE® Scar Gel is intended for the prevention and treatment of fresh scars, including hypertrophic scars and keloids, resulting from general surgical procedures, aesthetic procedures, injuries, wounds, and burns.

KELO-COTE® Scar Gel is also suitable for children from three months of age and for use on sensitive skin, the face, and the eyelid.

Application:
Apply a very thin layer of KELO-COTE® Scar Gel to the affected area twice daily and allow the gel to dry. If KELO-COTE® Scar Gel has not dried within 3-4 minutes, you have likely used too much scar gel. Gently remove the excess gel and allow the area to continue drying.

Once dry, cosmetics or sunscreen can be applied over the KELO-COTE® Scar Gel film.

Recommended treatment duration:
At least 2-3 months. Longer application may be necessary for very large and older scars.
