KELO- ^COTE® silicone scar patches protect the scar and increase skin hydration. They provide an optimal healing environment by moisturizing and protecting the scar area and normalizing collagen production, thus improving the appearance of raised scars.

Through KELO- ^COTE® silicone scar patches are proven to make scars flatter, softer, and smoother. They relieve scar-related discomfort and itching and reduce skin discoloration.

KELO- ^COTE® silicone scar plasters can be used alternately with KELO-COTE® scar gel and spray. The alternating application can be done, for example, on a day/night basis. However, silicone scar plasters, gels, and spray should not be used simultaneously (on top of each other/in multiple layers).

Areas of application:
KELO-COTE® Silicone scar plaster is intended for the prevention and treatment of fresh scars, including hypertrophic scars and keloids, after general surgical procedures, after aesthetic procedures, in cases of injuries, wounds and burns.

KELO-COTE® Silicone scar plaster is also suitable for children from three years of age and for use on sensitive skin, on the face and on the eyelid.

Application:
For best results, you should start treatment once the wound has closed and the scab has fallen off or the stitches have been removed.

The KELO-COTE ^® silicone scar patch must completely cover the scar – if necessary, it can be cut to the correct size and secured with an adhesive or elastic bandage.

First, thoroughly cleanse and dry the skin. Remove the protective film from the back of the KELO- ^COTE® silicone scar patch and apply the patch to the scar.

For the best possible result , KELO-COTE ^® silicone scar patches should be worn for at least 12 to a maximum of 23 hours per day.

Clean the scar patch daily before reusing it. Each pack is sufficient for approximately 3 weeks of treatment.

The KELO-COTE ^® silicone scar patches should be temporarily removed when exercising or swimming: sweat or contact with water can cause the scar patches to peel off.

Recommended treatment duration:
At least 2-3 months. For very large and older scars, longer treatment may be necessary.
