KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheets protect the scar and increase skin hydration. They provide an optimal healing environment by moisturizing and protecting the scar area and normalizing collagen production. This improves the appearance of raised scars.

KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheets are proven to make scars flatter, softer, and smoother. Discomfort and itching associated with scars are alleviated, and skin discoloration is reduced.

KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheets can be used alternately with KELO-COTE® Scar Gel and Spray. You can alternate, for example, on a day/night rhythm. However, silicone scar sheets, gels, and sprays should not be used simultaneously (layered on top of each other).

Areas of application:
KELO-COTE® Silicone Scar Sheets are intended for the prevention and treatment of fresh scars, including hypertrophic scars and keloids, following general surgical procedures, aesthetic procedures, injuries, wounds, and burns.

KELO-COTE® Silicone Scar Sheets are also suitable for children aged three and up and for use on sensitive skin, the face, and eyelids.

Application:
For best results, begin treatment as soon as the wound has closed and the scab has fallen off or stitches have been removed.

The KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheet must cover the entire scar – it can be cut to the required size if necessary and fixed with an adhesive or elastic bandage.

First, clean the skin thoroughly and pat dry. Remove the protective film from the back of the KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheet and apply the sheet to the scar.

For optimal results, the KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheets should be worn for at least 12 to a maximum of 23 hours per day.

Clean the scar sheet daily before reusing it. Each pack is sufficient for approximately 3 weeks of treatment.

KELO-COTE^® Silicone Scar Sheets should be removed temporarily during sports or swimming: sweat or contact with water may cause the scar sheets to detach.

Recommended duration of treatment:
At least 2–3 months. For very large and older scars, longer use may be necessary.
