Klinion L-Mesitran Wound Ointment


When L-Mesitran comes into contact with the wound, fluid is drawn from the surrounding tissue, thereby creating ideal conditions for moist wound healing.

The product promotes the wound healing process by facilitating the autolysis of necrotic and devitalized materials, preparing the wound bed, and supporting epithelialization.

• brown) and viscosity may vary by batch. Furthermore, the product may contain visible sugar crystals. However, these variations have no effect on the effectiveness or method of application of the product.
  
  

Application:

1. Apply L-Mesitran with a sterile spatula either directly to the wound and surrounding skin or apply it to a sterile gauze first.
2. Cover the wound afterwards with a suitable dressing, depending on the amount of wound exudate.
3. Inspect the wound and surrounding area regularly in accordance with local protocol.
4. Renew after dissolution (every 24-48 hours)

Ingredients: 48% medical grade honey, hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan®), sunflower oil, cod liver oil, calendula officinalis, aloe barbadensis, vitamins C & E, and zinc oxide.
