Klinion L-Mesitran wound ointment


When L-Mesitran comes into contact with the wound, fluid is removed from the surrounding tissue, thus creating ideal conditions for moist wound healing.

The product promotes the wound healing process by facilitating the autolysis of necrotic and devitalized materials, preparing the wound bed and supporting epithelialization.

• brown) and viscosity may vary. The product may also contain visible sugar crystals. However, these variations do not affect the product's effectiveness or application.
  
  

Application:

1. Spread L-Mesitran with a sterile spatula either directly onto the wound and the surrounding area or first apply it to a sterile gauze.
2. Then cover the wound with a suitable dressing, depending on the amount of wound secretion.
3. Inspect the wound and the surrounding area regularly according to local protocol.
4. Renew after dissolution (every 24-48 hours)

Ingredients: 48% medicinal honey, hypoallergenic lanoline (Medilan®), zonnebloemolia, levertraanolia, calendula officinalis, aloë barbadensis, vitamins C & E and zinc oxide.
