Krill is rich in valuable omega-3 fatty acids, which are effectively absorbed by the body together with the so-called phospholipids of krill oil.
A daily intake of 250 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, especially EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), supports the maintenance of normal heart function.
