Durafiber Ag Bandage 4cm x 10cm

Durafiber Ag is a highly absorbent wound dressing with gel-forming components.

Thanks to its unique blend of cellulose fibers, Durafiber Ag represents a versatile solution for the treatment of chronic, acute and infected wounds with medium to high levels of exudate.

A dressing stay of up to seven days helps you to provide economical care.

  • Effective for up to 7 days against a broad spectrum of pathogenic bacteria.
  • Effective against a wide range of pathogenic bacteria (proven in vitro against S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, MRSA and VRE).
  • Minimizing dead space in which bacteria can settle.
  • High absorption capacity and retention — locks in wound exudate and the harmful bacteria it contains.
  • Permanently intact wound dressing and gel strength - easy removal with one hand.
  • Can remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
  • Minimal shrinkage of the wound dressing - continuous coverage of the wound bed.
  • Minimizes the horizontal spread of exudate through vertical absorption - minimizes the risk of maceration of the surrounding skin.
  • Adapts to the wound bed - supports wound healing by creating a moist wound environment.

Areas of application:
Durafiber Ag is indicated as an absorbent, antimicrobial, gelling dressing for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds, full-thickness/partial-thickness wounds or shallow, granulating exuding wounds, e.g.:

  • leg ulcers,
  • pressure ulcers,
  • Diabetic ulcers,
  • Surgical wounds,
  • Traumatic wounds,
  • Skin donor sites,
  • First and second degree burns,
  • Fistula tracts and tunneled wounds,
  • Secondary healing wounds
  • Wounds that are prone to bleeding, such as wounds that have been surgically or mechanically debrided.
  • Infected wounds
