Kelo-cote KIDS Silicone Gel
KELO- COTE® KIDS contains high-quality medical-grade silicone. After application, it dries quickly and forms a breathable, waterproof layer over the scar.
This invisible silicone film acts as a protective barrier: it protects the underlying scar tissue from damaging chemical, physical and microbial influences from outside.
Beneath the protective film, KELO-COTE ® KIDS provides an optimal healing environment: It moisturizes the scar area and normalizes collagen production.
This improves the appearance of scars.
KELO- COTE® KIDS is an extremely user-friendly silicone gel for the prevention and treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids. It has been proven to reduce and flatten scars, relieve itching, and reduce redness.
KELO-COTE ® KIDS is particularly distinguished by its efficacy, proven in numerous studies, and its patented crosslink technology. This technology promotes the formation of an optimal, cross-linked occlusion film that hydrates the scar tissue. Fibroblast proliferation is inhibited and collagen synthesis is reduced.
KELO- COTE® KIDS is suitable for the treatment of both recent and older scars, after general surgical procedures, and for injuries, wounds, and burns. The product can be easily applied to joints, the inside of the knee or elbow, hairy areas of the body, and even large scars.
KELO-COTE ® KIDS contains highly compatible silicone and is suitable for the treatment of babies from 3 months and people with sensitive skin.
KELO-COTE ® KIDS can be used together with pressure dressings or other scar therapies.
Application:
- Treatment begins as soon as the wound has closed and the scab has fallen off or the stitches have been removed.
- KELO-COTE® KIDS is applied in a very thin layer to the scar twice daily, morning and evening. Do not rub in, as this will allow the protective silicone film to form.
- The gel dries within 3-5 minutes. During this time, you can cuddle, chat, read aloud...
