The active ingredients inhibit the activation of melanocytes as well as the tyrosinase enzyme, which is responsible for melanin production. Additionally, the communication between skin cells is regulated and the transfer of melanin to the skin's surface is reduced.

At the same time, the exfoliation of pigment-laden skin cells is promoted, making the complexion appear more even and visibly reducing existing dark spots.
